“If you can follow directions, traditions, and recipes with care and consistency, combine those into satisfying meals, and most importantly teach someone else to feel and do the same…
You will be a chef.”
– Chef Jeremy Miller
In many ways, Cuisinery Food Market is the best of both worlds: fine dining, at home. Gourmet meals, ready in minutes. Customers can also choose between online shopping and visiting one of our brick-and-mortar storefronts, where we provide unique and personal service experiences. Case in point: visitors of our Melbourne, Florida location will have the pleasure of meeting chef Jeremy Miller.
Chef Jeremy runs a tight ship in Melbourne, acting as culinary manager, events planner, and community representative all in one. Even if you’re not in sunny Florida, you’ll find his incredible recipes in our newsletter and on our website. Because great food comes from great people, we thought it apt to officially introduce Chef Jeremy to our wider Cuisinery audience.
Experience
Jeremy’s story begins at his family’s deli in Syracuse, New York. There, he fell in love with food, and Terry – his wife of over 27 years. With the great passions of his life intertwined, he made the Dean’s List at the Culinary Institute of America and graduated from Johnson and Wales University with the highest distinction.
His colorful career is marked by loyalty and innovation. During his tenure at Ireland’s Steakhouse, the restaurant topped local lists, earned AAA Four Diamond status, and scored a Zagat rating. Through his work with the Devon Yacht Club, Bootleggers, and Harvest Moon Distributors, he honed his craft as a wine expert. Later on, Jeremy expanded his skill set by taking on big catering projects with Hyatt and Exquisite Bites Catering. Jeremy’s diverse and decorated decades of experience are now quite the boon at Cuisinery.
Service
Beyond cooking up trouble in the form of way-too-delicious meals, Chef Jeremy is an avid educator and community leader. As part of his lifelong quest to make awesome food accessible to all, Jeremy helped to found the Culinary Adventurers program in Weston, Florida, which empowered kids with cooking and foraging skills. He also developed a Sustainable Seafood menu for restaurants to recommit to environmentally-friendly practices.
With Cuisinery, he partners with the ALS Association to rally community support for the cause. He also organizes donations of high-quality, easy-to-prepare meals to local food banks like Second Harvest.
Technique
“Taste Life!” is Chef Jeremy’s motto, a phrase often repeated in the halls of Cuisinery. His philosophy is that the best meals are served with a side of culture, reverence, and above all, joy. A lifelong sustainable hunter and gardener, Jeremy learns the ins and outs of a cuisine’s history before adding his own spin. The result is always impeccable and balanced, with an element of surprise. One need only try his Crispy Ibérico Pork Belly Bites or Melon Ceviche to get a taste how well his creative instincts pay off. And with ten years of experience in wine sales, he’s always got a beverage recommendation on hand.
